Aureus Analytics, a global artificial intelligence technology company that provides customer experience solutions to the insurance industry, is pleased to announce that Michael Cormier has been appointed to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2021. Mr. Cormier will join Aureus' Board as an Independent Director.

Mr. Cormier was associated with Aureus Analytics through his role as an Entrepreneur In Residence with Connecticut Innovations, the State's strategic venture capital arm and early investor in Aureus. Previously he led sales and business development for RiskMatch, an early-stage insurtech platform successfully acquired by Vertafore. Before that, he served as CEO of Marsh Risk Solutions, where he led teams to develop and execute Marsh's Risk Consulting and Captive Solutions businesses globally.
