Bob has been a strategic advisor and active investor in early-stage InsurTech and other innovative companies since 2008. He also serves as a consultant to insurance organizations and investors on creative product development, insurance innovation, and operations strategies. Bob is a Board member of early-stage companies and insurance organizations, and was a Board member of the predecessor of WSIA, (formally NAPSLO), the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association.

Bob was the Founder and President of Tennant Risk Services for 31 years that he sold in 2018. His career has included retail, wholesale and reinsurance distribution positions, and actuarial and underwriting positions with insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokerage firms.
